Courtney Bayliss

BA (Hons) Dance

Instructor

If I'm not dancing I can be found...

...watching documentaries (or Dance Moms!).

My favourite band/artist is...

...UB40.

My most memorable dance routine is...

...General (performing): My final university piece, Not Political, choreographed by Junior Cunningham from Motionhouse. I was honoured to be selected for a solo part. Performing with Jenn and Toni: The many opportunities to perform at the Royal Albert Hall and Sadler’s Wells with JEMz Contemporary. These experiences helped me discover my love for contemporary dance while performing in such prestigious venues. Choreography: I haven’t yet created a piece with Jet Force, but at university my piece Infectious Harmony was selected for U.D.F (University Dance Festival). With so many incredible works in that showcase, I was really proud for mine to be chosen.
