If I'm not dancing I can be found...

...sat with a big cup of tea watching my favourite films and tv shows. I also love and good games night with my friends.

My favourite band/artist is...

...I have such and eclectic taste in music. I love anything: Muse, Lewis Capaldi, Girls Aloud, Paramore, Little Mix, Adele, Post Malone, The Weeknd!

My most memorable dance routine is...

...a contemporary piece, 'Read all about it' - it was my first time performing at The Royal Albert Hall! I was so nervous but as soon as I stepped onto the arena, it all went away and it was just amazing!

Katie started performing at just eight years old. What started off as a hobby soon became her passion and her career choice. After leaving school in 2013, Katie auditioned and was selected out of 500 applicants for a place on the Musical Theatre course at Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA). For two years Katie learnt new skills and techniques building and improving as a professional performer. Katie graduated BOA with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) with the highest grade, Triple Distinction Star. Throughout her years as a singer, dancer and actress Katie has performed at many prestigious theatres including: The Royal
Albert Hall in London, Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London, The Old Rep in Birmingham, The Core Theatre and The Birmingham Hippodrome. In September 2017, Katie took her IDTA Associate Freestyle exam and qualified with 95% giving her the confidence to explore all areas of dance, especially in Contemporary – a true passion of hers!
Katie is looking forward to adding more qualifications and professional training to her CPD in the future and can’t wait to get started with the dancers at Force. Katie loves seeing a child’s confidence bloom and develop as they engage in their love for dance the way she does.
